Kana had to blink her eyes several times before she could make out the woman in front of her. Her hair rolled like the waves that framed her. Her ears blended with the coral, and her dress appeared to be made of seaweed.

“I’ve seen you watch these waters for many days, Sad One. Would you like to wield their power?”
